In the middle of all the politics and controversy surrounding COVID-19, one clear, positive thing that shines through is the hard work, courage, and sacrifice of the healthcare workers on the front lines. The coronavirus is not just a problem for New Orleans and New York. Just this week I found out that my daughter-in-law Samantha, from here in Jackson Parish, was working on the coronavirus floor at at Ouachita Parish hospital. She’s pictured here, along with some of her co-workers. We are so proud of you Samantha, and of what you and your co-workers are doing.
